SHIPPING POLICY

This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed through Flowers on Four Acres (“we”, “us”, “our”), an Irish VAT-registered business trading in Ireland and the European Union.

All prices shown on our website include VAT at the applicable Irish rate.


1. PRODUCTS WE SUPPLY

We sell a combination of:

  • Irish-grown and handmade flowers and floral products

  • Wedding flowers and event florals

  • Seasonal fresh flowers 
  • Handmade and customised items

  • Digital goods and services (including downloads and bookings)

Shipping, delivery or access arrangements vary depending on the type of product purchased.


2. ORDER PROCESSING TIMES

Processing times depend on the nature of the product:

  • Fresh / Perishable Flowers: Dispatched on selected delivery dates only

  • Wedding Flowers: Processing and delivery timelines are agreed individually at the time of booking

  • Handmade & Customised Products: Processed within 5-10 business days

  • Non-custom Handmade Products: Processed within 1-3 business days

  • Digital Goods & Services: Delivered electronically or confirmed by email and do not require shipping

Processing times exclude weekends and Irish public holidays.


3. SHIPPING DESTINATIONS

We currently ship only within Ireland and the European Union.

We do not ship outside the EU at this time.


4. SHIPPING RATES & DELIVERY ESTIMATES

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Ireland: [e.g. 1–3 business days after dispatch]

  • EU: [e.g. 3–7 business days after dispatch]

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including courier delays or adverse weather conditions.


5. PERISHABLE FRESH FLOWERS

Fresh flowers are perishable goods and are dispatched using appropriate delivery services to ensure quality.

Please ensure someone is available to receive fresh and dried flower deliveries where required. We cannot accept responsibility for deterioration caused by failed delivery attempts, incorrect addresses, or delays once the order has been dispatched.


6. WEDDING & EVENT FLOWERS

Wedding and event flowers are prepared to order and are subject to specific delivery or collection arrangements agreed directly with the customer in advance. 

Delivery details, timelines and responsibilities will be confirmed in writing as part of your booking agreement.


7. DIGITAL GOODS & SERVICES

Digital products and services:

  • Are delivered electronically or confirmed by email

  • Do not incur shipping charges

  • Are not subject to physical delivery timelines

Once supplied, digital goods are considered delivered in accordance with EU consumer law.


8. VAT & TAXES

As a VAT-registered business in Ireland:

  • All prices include VAT

  • No additional VAT or customs charges apply to EU orders

Customers will not be charged additional taxes on delivery within the EU.


9. SHIPPING CONFIRMATION & TRACKING

Where applicable, you will receive confirmation of dispatch by email. Tracking details will be provided if available from the courier.

9A. CUSTOMS & EXCISE DUTIES

Orders shipped within Ireland and the European Union are not subject to customs or excise duties under normal circumstances.

Where any customs checks, administrative fees, or excise-related charges are applied by local authorities or carriers, Flowers on Four Acres is not responsible for these charges. Any such fees are the sole responsibility of the customer and must be paid directly to the relevant authority or carrier.

We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Failure to pay applicable charges may result in delays, returns, or disposal of the goods by the carrier, for which we accept no responsibility.


10. LOST, DELAYED OR DAMAGED ORDERS

If your order:

  • Arrives damaged

  • Is lost in transit

  • Has not arrived within a reasonable time

Please contact us at trisha@flowersonfouracres.ie within [ 7 days] of the expected delivery date so we can investigate and resolve the issue in line with your rights under Irish and EU consumer law.


11. INCORRECT SHIPPING INFORMATION

Please ensure all delivery details are correct at checkout. We cannot be held responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address supplied by the customer.

If an order is returned due to incorrect or incomplete address details, additional shipping charges may apply.


12. CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in this Shipping Policy affects your statutory rights under Irish or EU consumer protection law.
