Our Story

We're a small dried flower farm and floral design studio in County Wexford, growing and drying flowers the slow, natural way. Our flowers are grown from seed and field grown with zero chemicals.

We grow cut flowers in Ireland, using organic methods of farming and no-dig principles to care for the soil and leave space for bees, butterflies and all the other small lives that share the land with us. Our flowers are grown outdoors, harvested by hand, and dried naturally on the farm. Nothing rushed, nothing forced.

We're farmers first. Floral designers second.

From Field to Bouquet

Every stem has its own timeline. Some take weeks, some take months, but all of them are grown with patience and intention. When they're ready, we harvest and dry them slowly so they keep their colour, shape and character. That's what makes our own dried flower bouquets and gifts a bit special, nothing dyed, nothing bleached and you know where its come from.

Our flowers often mark big moments — weddings, birthdays, anniversaries — but just as often they're for the quieter times. A thank you. A sympathy. A reminder that someone is thinking of you.

Why Dried Flowers?

As dried flower specialists in Ireland, we grow dried flowers because we love working outside, growing flowers and creating with them. They are so vibrant, last so well and don't need water. The varieties we grow here in Wexford are chosen because they dry well and age beautifully, meaning you can enjoy them for months — often years — with very little care.

It's a slower, more sustainable way of working with flowers, and one we really believe in.

    We like to help mother nature along by growing lots of bee and pollinator friendly plants and flowers and planting native trees around the farm. We also have a wild native hedging growing around the farm and let areas rewild.

    Our belief in growing, creating and providing sustainable products also extends to our packaging. As a specialist in dried flowers in Ireland, we ensure every dried flower gift is packaged with zero plastic.

    We grow all of our flowers organically without the use of harsh chemicals or pesticides. We use no-dig principles for growing and incorporate green manures to build soil health and fertility.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do dried flowers last?

Dried flowers can last for months if not years if cared for correctly. They are suitable for indoor use only to keep them looking their best. Keep them out of direct sunlight and away from humid environments. If you would would like to know more about dried flowers, check out our blog post here.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping normally takes between 1-3 days for standard gifts. This can take longer in very busy seasons and depending on An Post. If your order is urgent please give me a call in advance on 087-2121868 or email trisha@flowersonfouracres.ie and I will try and get your order out asap.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Yes, all of our dried flower items and gifts we ship are wrapped carefully using fully recyclable if not compostable materials. If you are looking for something unique or custom wrapped, please feel free to give me a call on 087-2121868 or email trisha@flowersonfouracres.ie. Just to note that you can add your gift message to your order by viewing your cart or basket and adding your gift message text there. We will look after the rest.
