My name is Trisha Kearns. I love Wexford and it is where I grew up on the family fruit farm. I have had lots of amazing jobs over the years and I have had the privilege to travel and work in some very interesting and far flung places. I went back to study horticulture in Kildalton College in 2018 and then, inspired by the architectural beauty of a little Passiflora flower, I really started to appreciate all things flowers.
In this new chapter as a farmer florist, I have been blessed to meet some great and inspiring people in my workshops on flower farming and floristry. It is a never-ending lesson in nature, patience and creativity.
I love what I do now. I love travelling, all things vintage, books and music and dancing my socks off until the wee hours. I love old cars, strong cheese and a good bottle of red. I love working out in the field and watching the seasons come and go. Best of all I love my crew – my partner in crime John and my two amazing girls and my head bug patrol team; the hens and weeders' ; the grumpy roosters boys and our dogs Millie & Penny; my constant companions even on the mucky wet days.
My floral style is wild, natural and colourful.
