About me
My name is Trisha. I love Wexford and it is where I grew up on the family fruit farm. I have had lots of amazing jobs over the years and I have had the privilege to travel and work in some very interesting and far flung places. I went back to study horticulture in Kildalton College in 2018 and then, inspired by the architectural beauty of a little Passiflora flower, I really started to appreciate all things flowers.
In this new chapter as a farmer florist and dried flower farmer in Ireland , I have been blessed to meet some great and inspiring people in my workshops on flower farming and floristry. It is a never-ending lesson in nature, patience and creativity.
I love what I do now. I love travelling, all things vintage, books and music and dancing my socks off until the wee hours. I love old cars, strong cheese and a good bottle of red. I love working out in the field and watching the seasons come and go. Best of all I love my crew – my partner in crime John and my two amazing girls, mad parrot Lowkie, fat cat Bella and our dogs Millie & Penny; my old companions even on the mucky wet days.
My floral style is wild, natural and colourful.

Award-Winning Irish Dried Flowers
In 2025, Flowers on Four Acres was honoured to win highly commended in the Home section at the Irish Made Awards, recognising our commitment to sustainable, locally-grown and Irish craftsmanship. This award celebrates businesses that champion Irish-made products, and we're incredibly proud to be part of that community.
Supporting local, sustainable design has always been at the heart of what we do, and this recognition means the world to us.
